Wear Green Day – Colour run, Tai Chi and nature-inspired creativity

At Phoenix Bay, mental health isn’t a one-week conversation – it’s built into our daily practice. But for Mental Health Awareness Week, we took it a step further with a special celebration on Wear Green Day.

> We began the day with calming Tai Chi sessions, helping students ground themselves in movement and breath.

> Then we headed outdoors for some creative exploration – designing nature-inspired artwork that combined mindfulness with imagination.

> And to wrap up the day? An unforgettable, whole-school colour run and obstacle course! (Let’s just say our staff ended the day very colourful and our students very entertained.)

Mental health support doesn’t always need to be formal or clinical.

We believe in creating joyful, shared moments that build trust, connection, and belonging – because these are the foundations of well-being.
