Looking back on this past year, we’re filled with gratitude and pride…
It was a milestone year for Phoenix Bay – we were rated Good by OFSTED, with an Outstanding grade for personal development, and our first Year 11 cohort achieved fantastic results, with all students moving on to post-16 education.
The icing on the cake?
Being nominated for School of the Year by The National School Awards and making it to the top 5! 🥳
We were thrilled to attend the celebration at the House of Lords, an evening that kicked off with an inspiring speech from Catherine McKinnell MP. It was a glamorous and uplifting event that recognised the challenges in education and celebrated the important work schools do every day.
The highlight of the evening was the School of the Year award, the most prestigious recognition of the night. Hearing our school’s bio read out and being acknowledged among such incredible peers was a moment we’ll never forget.
While we didn’t take home the win, we couldn’t be prouder of everything our small but mighty school has achieved!
This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, the resilience of our students, and the support of our families and community.
Here’s to another year of growth, connection, and making a difference.
