As part of their The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award journey, Phoenix Bay students have gone above and beyond – not just for themselves but for their community.
🥫 They gathered and delivered food to local food banks
🌱 Grew their own vegetables from seed to harvest
🏖 Took part in beach cleanups to help protect our coastline
These aren’t just tasks – they’re values in action. Compassion, responsibility, and environmental awareness – all growing alongside them.
This week is Volunteers’ Week, and we’re very proud to have received our DofE social value certificate for 2024/25. It celebrates the time our students have given to others – and the real-world difference they’ve made.
Volunteering is more than ticking a box. It’s a step toward purpose, confidence, and contribution.
To our students: you didn’t just meet the brief – you lived it.
To others: how is your school embedding purpose through service?
