Children in Need, the Phoenix Bay way – wasn’t just about pyjamas.
It was about play. Purpose. And Pudsey
Staff and students came together for a school-wide Challenge 25, all in aid of Children in Need.
Across classrooms, corridors, and our calm spaces, we saw:
– 25 unique drawings
– 25 fierce games of UNO
– 25 belly-laugh-worthy jokes
– 25 press-ups (some slightly wobbly!)
– One 25-line Phoenix Bay poem
– Plus crafts, conversations, and moments of pure connection
The highlight? It wasn’t a single challenge.
It was the way our young people and adults threw themselves in, side by side, supporting, smiling, and showing why relational practice isn’t just a theory here. It’s a feeling.
And yes, we all wore pyjamas.
Because comfort matters.
Because laughter belongs in school.
And because when the whole community rallies for a cause, magic happens.
Together, we raised funds.
But more than that, we raised each other.
